Save Time creating Seamless Patterns in Procreate

Patterns have a magical way of capturing attention and adding a touch of flair to your artwork, designs, or even personal projects. The best part? Making these patterns seamlessly repeat is not only fascinating but also incredibly satisfying. So, if you've ever wondered how to transform your unique designs into captivating, tileable patterns, you're in the right place.

I like to do patterns in Affinity Designer because I can see a live preview as I’m making them, but I know that not everyone wants to learn a new program, so today I’m going to show you how to create and test your patterns using Procreate.

Patterns are visually-appealing and I love the challenge of bringing different design elements together in a cohesive piece. When you can't or don't want to use Affinity Designer with a LIVE pattern preview, it can be really time-consuming to test your patterns in Procreate the old-fashioned way (duplicate into 4 copies, carefully move to the 4 corners, etc.), so I set up a free pattern-checker website that makes it super quick and easy to check your Procreate patterns at any step of the process!
